Often our clients are trapped or stuck in anger and resentment that can be debilitating and prevent them from living life in its fullness. Helping our clients resolve resentment, forgive self and others, and live more compassionately not only will affect the individual and their family, it will create ripples of love and compassion across our communities.
This interactive clinical conversation re/introduces resolving resentment as a key component in learning how to forgive. It will offer a helpful distinction between forgiveness and reconciliation which frees many to forgive. And describes how a clinician may help their client satisfy objections to forgiving.
Ginny Dinsmore, M.Div, LAC, CHSNJ’s member-at-large, will present: “Teaching Our Clients How to Forgive”
