Dear friends and colleagues,
Please join us as CHSNJ hosts Helen Adrienne and Bette Freedson.
In this didactic and experiential workshop, participants will explore the ways in which their patients, and they themselves, can use creative exercises to shift from rigid cognitive, behavioral and emotional patterns of stressful living into a state where solutions and capacities can be utilized.
Participants will be introduced to three innovative exercises that invite them into a state where deliberate actions soften and relieve what is often an automatic response to stress. They will explore the way this shift allows focus to move from broad to narrow and opens access to the resources of the subconscious and unconscious mind.
Helen’s Story: The Gift of Twiddled Thumbs.
